It's not so bad as long as you don't get a dry socket like I did.
Here's some tips:
#1 - Vicoden is your friend... puts the pain down
now... although you shouldn't need it unless you get a dry socket.
#2 - The day after isn't bad at all, your body hasn't realized there's been any trauma yet. So do what I did, and go to Laguna Seca to check out the Skip Barber racing school the day after like I did.
#3 - The second day after is when the swelling will kick your ass. Make sure ice is available. (Ice is not available in the Laguna Seca paddock.

)
#4 - The 3rd day after is when the dry socket kicks in and that shit hurts. Realize that it shouldn't hurt that much! Really, having your wisdom teeth pulled isn't that bad... if it hurts to the point that it's bothing you, chances are something's wrong. I went to back to the dentist a week after the surgery and they crammed a clove in the dry socket and in 5 minutes the world was once again a happy place.
#5 - Get all 4 pulled at once, and make sure they use the knock-out gas. You start counting backwards and the next thing you know you're waking up and everything's done. If only all unpleasent situations worked that way!
#6 - There is no #6 (or spoon)
#7 - You can hit on the nurses shortly after the procedure but they probably won't respond to a babbling, drooling, retard... especially if that's how you acted shortly before the procedure as well.
#8 - ????
#9 - Profit!
