Default In reference to timing

Time trials are fun, but they will eat up time. The last two summers I ran with a time trials group in Massachusetts (COM). All of the events were two day events. The first being driver's training (practice) and the second being more open track, and time trials. Even though only licenced drivers were allowed to run the second day, almost ALL of the accidents happened that day DURING the time trial. There's just something about competition that pushes people a little too hard.

That being said, I'm a huge proponent of time trials. I love the competition, and accept the higher risk. Becuase we only have one day though, we may as well just stick to a driver's training event. Timing will inevidably eat up a good two hours or more. Also, I've seen some of you drive
