So, Matt (my roommate/cooworker) and I were invited to an employee appreciation lunch at Silver Peak Brewery today for some of the testing work we did on one of the new slot platforms.

Lunch was pretty weak, considering we pre-ordered our meals for a noon reservation, and yet no one got food till about 12:50,

Plus the portions were uber small.

But after lunch, our new boss and some of the rest of the people in on our team all hung out on the patio and downed a few beer sampler platters!

Silver Peak's Peavine Porter is really tasty!

So yeah, my lunch today was from 11:30 to 2:20, free, and included like 6 3oz beers.

I rule!
