I do have a newer SB card, so I probably have a firewire port then, I didn't know it was AKA IEEE-1394. I'd love to get something to take in-car footage with, but like Scott said it can't cost too much. I want to be able to hook it up to the TV to watch at home but also to the computer so I could post vid clips.
