As both Scott and I can attest, you will run out of fender on most setups before you run out of shock throw.

Minimum Ride height with 225/45/17 Azenis appears to be about 13&7/8"-14" from wheel center to wheel well lip.

Any lower, and it is the tire hitting the fender, not the bump stops on a WRX in autocross type handling.
