They ended up telling her that they didn't think it was the catalytic, but a sensor. They recommended another shop to check the sensors and didn't charge her anything (and I know they spent some time on it). Bottom line is that they impressed us with their integrity. I think most shops would have just put in the new catalytic. Maybe worth a phone call at least.
