The power numbers are impressive, but that wasn't what I was asking; it sounded like you thought tuning a DI engine was somehow different than tuning a MPI engine, is that the case? If so, how is it different?

DI opens up a whole new set of parameters for fuel tuning. With standard FI, you only determine the length of injector pulse. With DI, you determine timing, length, and sometimes even run multiple pulses in one combustion cycle. And the REALLY cool part is that it open the door to 500hp cars that get 45mpg on the way to the track.

Also, would a second, very small, very late fuel injector pulse be a better option for antilag, rather than severly retarded spark to ignite a larger mixture? It's not like you'll get knock in your uppipe...
