The course was VERY fast. I was hitting the top of 3rd (~85 mph) before the first sweeper. The rest of the course was right in the powerband in 2nd and not very technical. It was a lot of fun. Sunday was the same course only wetter . I swapped my tires thinking the Hoosiers would be worthless and then the course dried up. I was about 4 seconds slower on street tires Sunday than I was on Hoosiers Saturday. The skies opened up toward the end of the run group and the timing light stopped working so they called it a day. I was litterally sitting at the start line waiting for the green flag in a downpour when they called the event.

Even pleads of "I've got AWD!!" didn't sway them to run one more car.
Oh well, the course was really open, fast, and fun. I really should have played with the suspension to get more oversteer and gone out there drifitng a bit more. Oh well. For the 1st time ever though, I beat Austin! 'Course he was running his Kuhmo 712's instead of race tires.

....but that had nothing to do with it!
