I'm always torn about bringing up political shit. Since I don't take it all that seriously, and since I don't judge people based on their political affiliation, I forget that bringing it up can sir the pot and piss people off sometimes.
My bottom line really is: pay attention to the world yourself, use common sense, and cast your vote based on what you think is important. Things like party lines, and the like are ruining our country... I'd never vote for someone or something because "my party" says I should.
If you think critically about the election, and still cast your vote for Bush, I've got zero problem with you. That's how America is supposed to work. But if you believe all the "I'm so-and-so and I approved this message" propaganda ads and base your vote on them without thinking about it, then I'd rather you keep your opinion out of the ballot box. We've already got enough mindless people making decisions in this country.
