You'd think that BAR would simply use their contract win as leverage to give a cheaper severance deal to Button or to get more money from Williams/BMW on a trade. I certainly wouldn't want to employ a driver that has publicly stated he wants to leave his team.
...which is why the Sox need to lynch Pedro's dumb ass. I bet he's really wishing he was on the Yanks now.
