Frankly, WRX == STS or NSM. The only think you gain is the cat-less exhaust in NESP.

No, a WRX is STX, .802 this year. And dean might take off the Stoptechs anyway, he thinks the rotational mass tradeoff isn't worth the extra fade resistance, which wasn't a problem before. A JDM or USDM STi top ount will help improve his cooling without introducing measurable lag, and the lack fo a cat will improve spool more than top end power. What I wonder about though, is if you truly can legally remove the cat- you should make more boost without it, reflash or no reflash.
