last year we went out as a family to explore the giving side of things with the homless, I like seeing that side of my kids more then the getting side. They even seemed to have more fun wishing others a Merry Christmas then the unrapping of thier own gifts (theres always somthing they wanted and didnt get). We will problly go out again this year to make a tradition out of it.
I think it is important to teach the kids that it feels better to give then recieve any day of the week. |
