that is a great idea.. I drove a g35 this past summer and man was it a good feeling.. Although the power is no where near the evo or the STi, it's NA you have to remember. It's traction control system is supposed to be bad ass in teh snow as well. Personally, i say if he's not a tuner of any sort, i'd straight off ax the evo.. (even though i like it alot).. To be honest, (and almost everyone else will tell you this as well), the EVO really isn't much of a car.. The interior is drab and the gauge cluster is crap... HOWEVER, on the upside of things, the motor has a ton of potential..
If he plans to leave it stock, the STi is a good car (even most car shops will tell you that stock for stock, teh STI is the way to go), the G35 is a great car (also comes with a sunroof and can have a BOSE sound system
), i know SAAB and volvo also have similar cars to the WRX.. and let's not forget the WRX.. great car for the price *if those sales tards dont try to rip you off*.. anyway, just my opinion on things, and after all, he can do whatever he like with his money
