People were
throwing helmets!?! At an
autocross!!? Jees... it's not like this is Winston Cup and somone just ran you off the track ending your day, or like your IHRA dragster threw a piston in the finals. It's autocross for pete's sake. BTW: if you spike your helmet, it needs to be inspected by the manufacturer before being put back into use.
I just hope it wasn't anyone from our region.
