Actually, I really like Nordstroms. As long as you're willing to spend the money on the markup there, you get awesome service and there are zero crowds. I can't shop like that often because it's so expensive, but the last time I went there I got a pair of pants, a shirt, belt, and shoes with zero hassle, and the person helping me applied their fasion sense over mine, since I'm useless beyond the jeans and t-shirt genre.
The best part is that the people working there are very helpful (commission tends to do that). All I had to do was stand in the dressing room and say stuff like, "I don't really like that color, can you find me one a little darker" or "I think these shoes are a little too dressy" and the people helping you go and grab what you want! It rules! Plus they tailored my pants in like 5 minutes while I waited!
'Course I spent like $500 on one outfit that I hardly ever wear... but you feel like you're getting old-school service, and the quality of the clothing is much higher than the other crap pedaled in EveryMall USA.
