Best prices on Pads locally/Mail Order is TireRack. Need to call to order and tell them you will pick them up in Sparks.

Hawk HPS are probably a good bet. Khail might be able to get you a deal on them for less.

The job is pretty easy for anyone who can turn a wrench. Pobably a good time to flush the brakes as well. That takes two to do a good job.

Check this thread out for choices. In your case for a street car, the ATE or Motul are probably great choices and should last a couple years with great results. http://www.seccs.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2365

You can do it yourself, the question is if you want to. If not, Sid's Aligmnet and brake on 4th will do a good job, and get you the pads for less if you mention SCCA, and us Subaru Folks. Talk to Sid...
