You can't do just any race (unfortunately ), but you can either take static photos, or you can go to another photo mode where you drive around the track for a few laps, then pause it at any time to set up your shot. Each option has slightly different ways to set up the camera location, but ones thats set up, you can deal with aperature, exposure time, white balance, and a whole bunch of other photo things I can't remember the name of right now.

That's awesome. Sounds like a great tool to get the pictures that I need to do my paintings.
