My severity was in jest, my point was not. I guess at 2:50 in the morning, I must have forgotten a guy.
But my point is mildly important; It's bad online etiquette to just toss up a new thread w/ just a link to some other board. Many people won't bother to follow the link unless there's some hint as to whether or not it's worth clicking... especially when it's a link to a board many of us already read. Bascially what's being said is "I'm going to add a thread to this board, but I'm not going to make an effort to make the thread interesting." It's bascially adding nonsense to the board, which is the definition of post-whoring.
Now, I respect and I like you Sergio, and if I offended you, I appologize, it was not my intent to insult you. However, I've had other people on the board comment on your link-only posts, so I'm not the only one that's noticed your posting habits, and as a moderator I felt I should say something. I will agree that I did not handle my job in the most professional manner.
I don't want to make a big deal about this, since it's not really a huge issue, it's just that when you've got people that spend a lot of time looking up and posting information, or finding obscure stuff for the group, and putting time and thought into their posts only to get a few "ha!" or "awesome!" or "http://www.somelink.com" posts, it just tends to detract from the people that are adding real content to the board, and makes the content posters feel like they're wasting their time. And that goes for a lot of people on here, me included at times... not just BOO... in fact BOO's not even the worst offender, he just got the unfortunate job of being the example on this issue.
So, I'm not suggesting that people post less, I'm just suggesting that people put some more thought into their responses. Quality over quantity, else we end up being a carbon copy to the SRIC daily thread.

Well Scott.. I understand your "point" which I have said many times I am not a computer Nerd so I didn't know about this POST-WHORING thing, but due to the fact that this is "The Off Topic thread" I figured I would do so...
As for explaining the situation in a more calmly yet professional manner(now), I apreciate that.. But whether or not it was 2 am or not the LANGUAGE (To me) was uncalled for.
If others were having issues about the way I post things maybe They should have come to me earlier and said something .. Constructive Critizism is always to the best advantage, especially for a computer ignorant person like myself...
And finally as for this not being a big deal for you I can respect that .... Remember its always nice to talk about things as issues come up rather than to ingest them, hold them until it finally makes you want to
KILL BILL...LOL
