Okay... about the NASIOC stuff... every shop/vendor has their fanboys... if anything seems out of place about your review of them, well you're gonna get jumped on. Best bet is to hold your review till the situation is resolved. Then post up the details start to finish and let the facts speak for themselves.
Regarding the idiots at that other site... why are you even bothing w/ them? IMO "grudge" racing like that, or for money is just asking for issues. Maybe I'm short on ego, but I frankly don't care who's faster than me in a straight line... or maybe I just like turning too much. Either way, if you want to be fast(er), the 1st step is admitting you're not the "fastest". So you swallow your pride and pick someone else's brain, and get some instruction, and practice. At least that's my philosophy.
Those kids will never truely be fast because they already think they're the shit, when in fact they haven't learned jack squat about what it takes to be a real champion. I know in the 5 years or so that I've been racing, all I've learned is that I've got a shit load more to learn. There is *always* someone out there that's faster than you. The trick is to use them as a resource to become faster yourself... not run your mouth at them and make excuses why you lost.
The bottom line is... to reach the next level, first you have to admit there's a next level to reach. I'd suggest leaving those guys and their juvenile trash talk and account hacking, and come out racing with some of us. Come to a few autocrosses, hit a track day or two... Let those kids play Fast-N-Furious and learn nothing, a quarter mile at a time.
BTW, my little rant isn't intended to be a knock on drag racing... it's meant to be a knock on people that think racing has anything to do w/ how much of a man you are. For some reason, drag (and of course street) racing seems to attract those people w/ an inferiority complex. I say, why bother playing w/ people like that. To me, the point of driving fast isn't to prove something to the world, it's only to prove something to me.
