Well, one of the gas cans you returned says "SPERRY" on it....
Streets rocks... It is the autocross of road courses. The car is almost constantly in transition. Speeds are lower, but 1 missed apex can mess you up for 3 turns unless you fix it.
Pahrump may be slightly more technical, but this track gives you no rest, and is a very good learning track.
Both mornings, we used the Zs before the skidpad... Wow, talk about weight transfer, and giving up 2 consecutive corner exits for the third...
Ya shoulda been there... only 40 or so people, so you got 4 30 minute sessions per day, or 4 hours of track time..
Streets of Willow Springs
I continue to be amazed how well the WRX handles. I was on my STX ECU running with the AC on full blast and the windows open, and the only cars that caught me in the 2 days were the 2Bennett GTR race car, and Andrew's 2Bennett Coupe with about 500HP and full cage, on R compounds.
One of the other instructors in a 400HP S4 on RA1s tried to catch me both days and couldn't and was crushed to know I was running stock boost and the AC on...
It was a blast.
