We opened registration for this event yesterday morning and immediately received over 70 registrations! Many were 2-day entries. Just so you know, we had to set aside a specific number of car and bike slots for Mazda for this event. The good news is that Mazda must assign their drivers to these slots by August 26th. On August 27th, we will offer any open slots to drivers on the event waitlist.
Because you were in the 1st wave of registrations, you'll most likely NOT be affected by the Mazda allocation, and will be confirmed to attend this event. However, we did receive a significant number of Novice registrations, and may not be able to get all Novices into the event at this time. We're also limiting the number of instructors at the event to preserve track space, so that in turn will restrict the number of Novices allowed. We'll keep the Novices informed as we continue with the registration process.
Again, you will receive another message confirming your position at the event, and your payment instructions this weekend. Once you receive this, you'll have to make a payment by August 24th or you will lose your slot.
Payment methods will be via Paypal or Check.

We received about 100 registrations for this event within 3 days of opening, and have had to review each request and assess where we are with the event. As I mentioned in an earlier message, we need to hold about 25 slots at this event for Mazda employees until August 26th. After the 26th, we can offer any available spaces to waitlisted drivers. This DOES NOT affect you because each of you registered early enough to make it into the event.
Now that you're in, you need to make a payment to secure your spot at the event. All payment options & fees are listed below along with the number of days we have you registered for. Please let us know ASAP if your run group or the number of days registered is NOT correct.
Once your payment has been received, we'll send another message indicating that your 'paid-up' for the event. Keep in mind that all payments must be made by August 24th or you may lose your slot to a waitlisted driver.

Unfortuantely I don't see any names I recognize on that list of Low Intermediate's besides my own.
Also... something tells me, I'm going to be stuck in traffic all day long, since B2 is going to be running w/ the Novices.
But I guess I'd rather be there in novice traffic than at home. Maybe they'll be able to bump me up to B1.
