Scott, I still haven't really looked at your setup. It sounds like you have something that allows air to get to the Vanes which is mostly what matters. All I'm saying is that the better the "seal" between duct, and rotor, the more cooling.
I'm still thinking a sheet metal rain gutter downspout connector flattened, cut and drilled approriately would make a good rotor side connector for cheap. I agree $80 is rediculous unless you need "race team" quality.
