Yeah, i figured it would be more difficult to find, and I definitely figured on upgrading the headgasket while it was out. One engine company claimed to have one of these next week, I told him the dohc ej25 from a 1998 Impreza 2.5rs, and he still claimed to have one on the way. Is there a number I can check to check the year, or do any of the phase I variations look different from one another? The guy was giving a steepish price, but thats what it costs to buy someone to take your bad engine back to if need be. Just want to make sure that I get what I ask for and know how to tell it apart.
