Well, I would still doubt it until I saw some downforce numbers from wind tunnel testing. They can talk all they want, but OEM wings/spoilers on production cars rarely do anything except add weight and increase drag. |
All I can say is what I've read from Subaru press releases, with the disclaimer that I'm just repeating what Subaru said. I can imagine there's a reason that wing is so damn high. I doubt they'd block the rear view without it being functional. Plus, it's right at the same height as the WRC wing (and I know the WRC wing is engineered to be right in the airstream), it's just missing the extra verticle surfaces.
