If we're rolling so deep, we need some ground rules to avoid el policia. These are the things we found helped on the 500 mile trip to the coast.
- top speed, 80... lead car needs to keep it under 75 so trailers can keep up after traffic slows 'em down. When you're by yourself, you can get away with speeding, but in a group like this, not only do the cops perk up, they'll be able to pull us *all* over and claim street racing.
It happened to some of the MIW crew a few months back... 2 of 'em lost their licenses.
- watch the tailgating... we had one car rear-end another on the road trip.
- use the radios, I've got 2 extras (assuming Sergio gives me back the one he's got in his car!
) If you have a "family channel" radio, bring it.
- call out the radar blips... V1 owners need to be on top of this!
