That is so typical every year out in Wisconsin. We used to take the 4 wheeler w/ teh plow out on the ice and make an ice track, then the subies would come out. Great fun, and you really learn alot about handling characteristics on ice. The guy was probably out on the a tad to early in teh season, or didnt check the thickness with an ice fishing auger.
