Ahh.... I miss the days of getting new mods and installing them myself.
...one of these days soon I'll have my car back! With a raging 4300 rpm rev limit.
Then I've got like 40 hours of work to put into it on all the backlogged shit. Like wiring the DCCD... only god knows how bad that's gonna be!
Anyway, back to the topic... the AP should be pretty easy to install. I didn't do mine, but IIRC, it's as simple as plugging in the test jumper and the data cable and waiting 30 minutes w/o doing anything that could effect the voltage in the car, like opening a door or running the stereo.
