Same deal with the M5.... if you want a "luxury" car ride and "sports" car handling you end up with a heavy-ass car with TONS of horsepower. And even then, the handling is gonna suffer from the weight, even if its 0-60 numbers are in Corvette's neighborhood.
Maybe that's my problem with these cars... they're a total compromise, and I'm a purist (as you well know ). "Luxury/sports" sedan is a contradiction in terms to me.. you can do one or the other really well, but try and mix both and you're gonna end up lacking.
