Exactly! What happens is the stock rails are setup as a serial setup, meaning one cylinder is fed after the other along a line. #3 gets fuel last and thus can have lower pressure and flow. Perrin rails, as well as others, change the system to a parallel setup where every cylinder is fed evenly. In addition, the Perrin kit uses stainless steel hoses and aluminum blocks for the rails. Taking off the intake manifold was an interesting endeavour, but well worth it. Many people run similiar power as me and don't upgrade the rails and they are doing fine. For me, I was willing to spend the $ for the extra peace of mind.
