Unfortuantely the problem's not the boot... it's the CV joint and/or the seal between the axle and the diff. So I'll need to replace the CV, as well as the boot... it will actually be a lot easier to simply replace the whole axle.

Hopefully this will all simply get sorted out with the dealer.
