Well, worst case is it doesn't fit and you end up with a loaner that doesn't fit.
But glad you got yourself all set. You should be okay, my helmet is a medium and I wear a 7-1/4 to 7-3/8 hat. Or at least I used to, I am getting older so it might be 7-1/2 now!
