Using the basic Stock, and SP and ST rules theory: Unless it specifically says you can, you can't... Our T class rules do not allow for ST prepared cars to run under there SP class on Street Tires...
So if he wants to run on street tires in DSP at .829, he is welcome to. But STX at .804 is better...

Since an STX car that shows up and slaps *SP on the side as its class is SP legal, the street tire rule applies. Is it a stretch? Maybe. But it's legal.
