There's two bulbs under the metal cover that's around the LCD (assuming they didn't change the stereo between your and my car). You'll need to de-solder the lock on the plate and bend aside some tabs to open it up... then you have to *very carefully* ben the LCD aside to get to the bulbs.

I've heard that red sharpies work real good for tinting, but eventually fade
