Correct..mostly. They are not a dedicated track pad, they are a hybrid that is a sane street pad, but has the capability to work at moderate track temperatures and stresses..its a give on the track side of performance for the benefit of street sanity.

There's no such thing as a perfect street pad that's also a perfect track pad. Too many tradeoffs, but IMHO, the R-4S is a pretty sweet place to be on the map if you need one that can do both within reason.
