Anywho, this is the best thread ever.

Oh, and I agree with Mike, the car is clean. The hood could take some getting used to, but it's probably functional in the form of releasing hot air from the engine bay. I'd buy it if I was on the market... again, not for $21k though
So you're saying a HKS SSQV BOV adds 120hp? Right. How 'bout this statment: "there's a WRX on this board with the same HKS SSQV BOV that's making 280hp in spite of the BOV that does nothing except increase lag between shifts and makes noise".

Ditch the body kit, tone down the hood and hoodscoop, and upgrade the lights to some EDM projectors, and I'll agree the car is "clean". But it's still woefully under-suspended and under-braked for all the crap under the hood. Also, half the crap under the hood could go and it'd still be just as fast as it probably is.

I'll tell you what that car's worth:

$13,902

but that's only if he takes off all these parts:

...and returns it to stock. IMO, no matter what's been done, it doesn't add value to the car. In fact it lowers the value of the car. Which is why I've still got a 2002 WRX myself... it's more cost effective to keep the car than to take the loss due to modifications if I sell it.

If I were shopping for a WRX, I'd buy this car for maybe $11,000 and only if it came with a stock hood in addition to the carbon monstrosity on it. And I'd still be worried about the quality of the car, not just because race motors have short lifespans, and not just because I don't know dick about the people that built it, but because the seller has a car with a ton of recent work (it hasn't even been tuned yet!?!) that he's so desperate to unload he's advertizing on a small board local to a town 1000 miles away.
