Ditch the body kit, tone down the hood and hoodscoop, and upgrade the lights to some EDM projectors, and I'll agree the car is "clean". But it's still woefully under-suspended and under-braked for all the crap under the hood. Also, half the crap under the hood could go and it'd still be just as fast as it probably is.

I'll tell you what that car's worth:

$13,902

but that's only if he takes off all these parts:

...and returns it to stock. IMO, no matter what's been done, it doesn't add value to the car. In fact it lowers the value of the car. Which is why I've still got a 2002 WRX myself... it's more cost effective to keep the car than to take the loss due to modifications if I sell it.

If I were shopping for a WRX, I'd buy this car for maybe $11,000 and only if it came with a stock hood in addition to the carbon monstrosity on it. And I'd still be worried about the quality of the car, not just because race motors have short lifespans, and not just because I don't know dick about the people that built it, but because the seller has a car with a ton of recent work (it hasn't even been tuned yet!?!) that he's so desperate to unload he's advertizing on a small board local to a town 1000 miles away.
Why do you state the obvious? Of course we all know what book value is on a car. People who modified their cars tremendously knows that people will pay more than the book value. This is called Market Value or also known as street value. You go find me a Supra or a Skyline for book value and I'll take a personal loan out without hesitating.

If this is your only point besides your opinion about my hood then I don't think you have anything worth mentioning. Btw, my hood is fully functional unlike many you see. The heat vents, release some of the heat as mentioned by sp00ln. The larger hoodscoop increases the airflow to the slightly larger intercooler.

You are absolutely correct about the suggestion about upgrading the brakes, suspension and HID headlights. Those were few of the items i was planning to upgrade, but the point to not spend anymore money.

I bought this car as a daily driver and it turned into a huge project. For anyone who has money and get into modifying and tuning, you know its very addicting. I figure there is no way I can stop unless I sell it.
