Not to discourage anyone, but unless you are very comfortable making steering inputs at relatively high speed I would think twice before participating in this type of event.
Even though the runways are much wider than Hawthorne, they are runways, not a track with designed runoff. More than one car has been damaged going off at these events. Heck, if I remember correctly, 2 cars have been damaged on the tarmac, impacting cones at these speeds.
Again, I am not trying to discourage anyone, only make it absolutely clear that this is not an autocross/Solo event like we have at Stead, and therefore contains correspondingly more risk.
