A friend of mine who autocrosses a CP car has lightweight dedicated racing rims that I think cost about the same as those Art posted, with racing slicks mounted on them. They're like 16x11-12" wide with 315 or some other such monstrous size tires. Now those Volk's are only 18(unnecessary diameter, just adds weight)x8? Doesn't sound like very good performance for your dollar to me...

Or better yet, just use the stock 17x8's that came with the car for a total of $0, that's what I'm currently racing with.
