I just don't think it's a big issue for the snow. Most of us have driven lowered Subarus in winter up here, and how many of us had the DCCD advantage? Since Dan will mostly be heading to ski resorts in the snow, he's not going to be trailblazing through 12" of snow to get there. Yes, stock ride height (or simlar) is better than 25mm of lowering, but I don't think it's going to mean the difference between getting where he's going and not come winter.
