You wanna get geeky... the reason Han and Chewie's Kessle run is impressive is not because they're fast (remember a parsec is a unit of distance, not time or speed), it's because they're such great smugglers they can run straight through the Emperial blockades thus avoiding taking the "long route" that all the crappier smugglers have to take to avoid the heat that the Falcon can either out-run, out-fight, or out-smart.
