I am very confident in the Winter Sport Dunlops. I had heard that their old Graspic line was a nightmare on Ice, but the Dunlop's on the Wagon, and now the ones on the STI do great on ice. Personally, I have heard that the Blizzak WS50 is unfit for dry driving, so its the last tire I would put on a WRX or Evo. Lm-22 yes...ws 50 =No.

The amount of siping (sp?) on the Dunlop is very similar to that of the Blizzak, and like I said, they performed wonderfully last season. So, I'm happy with my Dunlops, and a lot of other owners would agree.

Basically
New Dunlop Winter Sports > Old Dunlop Graspic, etc.

WS 50 is good for full time snow use. but dangerous on dry pavement because of lack of cornering ability.
