The difference is that Jeeps are the
original go-anywhere off-road utility vehicle. The Jeep Wrangler traces its origins back to world war 2 and the original Willy's Jeep (that you see G.I's riding around in in every WW2 movie). The Jeep Cherokee was the first mid-size utility vehicle to be designed back in 1984. All the "SUV's" that have come out since then have been based on a Jeep in one way or another. That's why our Jeeps are just that... Jeeps. :wink:
