i only had to go over the pass with snow one time so far
So i have been lucky but the way i drive in snow is a lot safer then on dry streets. Plus with 35MPH speed limit you really dont need chains with AWD even if you dont have snow tires..i've made that pass with a front wheel drive car with bald tires and only splipped a little due to the idiots who like to come to a complete STOP in the snow....it does become a little harder to move again without a little slipping
