A co-worker and I came up with a neat idea for a bumper cam. . .
I was screwing around with an XBox Live camera on my notebook today. The cord on the cam is super long, and the quality is suprisingly high.
The idea is to have the cam attached to the inside of an empty foglight bezel (one with the hole for the light) and run the cord through the engine bay, into the cabin, and to my notebook sitting on the passenger side floor.
Any thoughts? I figured this would be fun for autox as the cam will be mounted to the side I usually hit cones with. Talk about getting up close and personal
