SOLDERATED!!! Enjoy, MikeK.
Selling teh "Outback GT" so's I can pick up a new ride.
$4000 OBO
-2nd owner, 1st was my mother, car has <140k mi and every last service record from Diablo mazda Subaru and Skagit in Wa.
I'd be glad to show it to whoever is interested or to bring it to the next meet to spark interest.
-Runs great, very strong, has many new parts including head gasket upgrade with NEW cylinder heads, t-belt & pulleys/tensioners, clutch assy, NGK iridiums and plug wires. The heads were done at ~100k mi. NEW short block at 15K mi OEM Subaru. (Viva los warranty).
-NEW KYB strut mounts in front, KYB GR-2's, and NEW OEM 2.5GT Wagon springs, less than 4000 mi ago. Aligned by Sid's.
-Subysolutions 7/8" (21-22mm) adj rear sway with endlinks
-Debadged, claybarred, Zymol'd 10/06
-JDM projector headlight conversion w/all new bulbs. (very nice, very bright) Still have originals.
-JDM wind/rain guards not installed, used, in great shape (ScottyS has a set for reference, I believe)
-Pirelli Winter Carvings, unstudded, 205/60/15, <3000mi. Also have a set of OEM size michelins XW4 ~30% 205/70/15 to include.
-New battery ~11/06 Autolite.
-Snorkus delete
-Interior is good, everything works, small cigarette sized burn on pass seat from droplight.
***the only bad stuff, I'm sure you've heard about***
-Car got a little keying, one pass up each side from the rear doors back. The driver's side took the brunt, the passenger side should polish out.
-Little ding @ driver side A-pillar, rainguards will cover it up when installed.
-Little ding @ passenger rear wheelwell.
-Normal wear and tear for a ~10 year old car, mostly contained in the lower grey part in the 'high traffic' areas.
-The tire size is less than OEM, which means slightly less mpg and high speedo readings by about 4mph via miata's tire size calc. 26.3 --> 24.7" OD. I planned on putting some 225/45/17's on there as a happy medium, but sold them to bajozzy instead.
-Goes through a little oil, could use some VC gaskets.
-P/S consumes a bit, no visible leakage noted on the ground.
This is what the car looks like currently, OEM wheels, Pirelli snows. Sits like a 2.5GT but still has the underbody spacers.
Photo is older, debadging completed and clean, disregard leftover adhesive, its gone, claybarred and waxed. Ding in wheelwell sorta visible.
Wheels are thing of the past, but pic shows fender ding better:
Rainguards:
***If the weather quits, I can get better photos of the keying damage, as well as see what will polish out*** It turned out to not be as bad on both sides as it seemed initially.
