I got in touch w/ the ex-JIC emloyee on NASIOC that know all there is to know about JIC coilovers, and the latest version
does not need helper springs! The version w/ the helpers was a stop-gap release that had the long stroke dampers and the regular rear springs. Since then they're made 'em with longer rear springs so they don't need the helpers.
