+1. The look isn't what makes the Impreza unique, it's the performance and driveability.
I don't dislike the look outright. . . I think both hatch and sedan actually look ok. I miss the flared fenders, though. The new fenders are too plain.
At any rate, new and different are always odd at first. I'm sure people were complaining (and some still are
) about the huge changes that were made from GC to GD chassis. But it grew on people.
