who's got the waterjet? does anyone here know CAD/CAM? the programing would be the most expensive part of the build, but it's a one time investment. most places/friends that do watercutting, is $85 hourly, and the same hourly charge for programing. an hour of a water jet machine runing can probably go through a 4x8 sheet of thin Ti. that's at least 50 sets (4 pcs) of shims.

and $20 material seems kinna cheap. but i don't sell metal anymore, so i really don't know.
