BMW Sauber driver Nick Heidfield took on the 'ring this weekend in his F1.06 car.

Unfortunately it was fitted with demonstration tires (less grippy than they use in the F1 races) to encourage him not to push it too hard

Also, he was asked to slow down many times for photographic purposes. He put down three laps, with his best time being 8:34.
