That's all NASIOC is, just a popularity contest with a bunch of people who are stuck in their ways. Everybody will bitch about a WRX that is lowered on springs, has Rota's, and is stage 2, because it has been done too many times. But as soon as somebody does anything different, to be different, they all freak out and crucify that person. Just go look in the "Rate the Car Above You" thread...Build your car for you, do what makes you happy. It doesn't matter if you want to slam the car to the ground or strip it, cage it, and make it a race car.
The car scene (muscle, import, ect.) has got to be the most difficult place to try and bring a new idea to the table. Somebody will always hate what you do or what you have.
